Amherstburg police say it happened in the 2100-block of County Rd. 20 around 8:30am Monday.
As of Tuesday police say the man remains in the ICU.
The Toyota was travelling south when police say it lost control and flipped.
Officers continue to investigate how the crash occurred.
County Rd. 20 between North Side Rd. and Malden Rd. was closed for a short time, but has since reopened.
