The Windsor police drug squad arrested three alleged drug dealers Thursday, two of them are from Toronto.
During an investigation, officers found two men in the 2600-block of Howard Ave inside a vehicle. Police arrested the men and say they seized $4,800 worth of crack cocaine, brass knuckles, digital scale, $615 in cash and four cell phones.
A 17-year-old from Toronto has been charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and having a restricted weapon while prohibited.
A 25-year-old man, also from Toronto, was charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.
In a separate incident later that day, the Windsor Police Drug and Gun Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 500-block of Aylmer Ave.
It appears nobody was home, but individuals linked to that address were seen driving on Wyandotte St. E. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the two men inside.
Police seized 12 g of marijuana, 43 g of crystal meth, several other smaller baggies with more crystal meth and $1,600 in cash. When officers searched the vehicle another 3.5 g of meth was found and $3,000 cash.
When police went back to the house to execute the search warrant they found three digital scales.
A 43-year-old man is being charged with possessing meth, possessing meth for the purpose of trafficking, possessing marijuana and driving a vehicle without a valid license.
A 40-year-old was also charged with possessing crystal meth.
