Leamington Ontario Works Moving

The new location has not been released but the City of Windsor says it will move in with other like-minded services to create a hub for residents of the county.

"Currently our location is a little bit off the beaten path and not exactly where the clients are that we serve but our new location is much more central, " says Commissioner of Community Development and Health Jelena Payne.

There will be two to three key organizations in the hub but Payne says up to ten others have expressed interest in joining. More details should become available within the next couple of weeks and the office will open in the new year.

The Ontario Works office in Leamington serves 900 residents in the county and has an annual budget of $114 million.
