Rifles Recovered, Suspects On The Loose

Two stolen long guns are now in the hands of Windsor police, but two men linked to the investigation are still on the loose.

Officers were called to the 600-block of South Pacific Ave. Thursday afternoon after a concerned citizen noticed two suspicious men in the area.

Police say they were "snooping" around in the back yard of a vacant property.

Two long rifles were found behind the abandon house. Police say those guns were stolen from a break and enter earlier this week in south Windsor.

After searching the area police were unable to locate the two suspicious males. They are described as both being white, in their early 20s and wearing a baseball hat with blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350 or Crime Stoppers.
