Following what he calls a "pretty bad" break-up last year, University of Windsor student Andre Wright decided to look for love on the many websites and apps available, and he found them lacking.
"I realized most of them were based on hook-ups, or that users have limited accessibility because they want to make money off the app, and the app would charge anywhere from $15 to $100 per month."
So Wright decided to create an app of his own. It's called "Suited - Dating App" and in the first month, it was downloaded 1500 times. The app matches couples based on location and interests.
"Right now, it's worldwide. There's users who have downloaded it all over the world, but most of the users are in Windsor."
Wright hopes with the right investors, it will top a million users around the world. He won't identify potential investors but says he's had a few meetings.
