Aspen Lake Nursing Home in Windsor has been issued three orders of non-compliance after scabies was found earlier this month.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has completed its investigation, a spokesperson tells BlackburnNews.com
Under the non-compliance orders Aspen Lake must ensure plans of care are updated to meet the needs of residents.
The ministry also says personal care for residents wasn't acceptable. Specifically, they say, the home failed to ensure proper fingernail care.
Aspen Lake General Manager Dana Houle said last week all the necessary precautions were taken "in a proactive way."
