The local health unit has ended a boil water advisory for Boblo Island, but has issued another for a stretch of Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says the new advisory has been issued for customers serviced from 9225 to 11475 Tecumseh Rd. E.
The health unit says due to an adverse water sample taken on Wednesday, the water line serving the affected area could be contaminated.
Residents in the affected area should only consume bottled water or water brought to a hard boil for one minute.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
The advisory on Boblo Island ended Friday afternoon after being issued on Wednesday.
