A boil water advisory has been issued for Boblo Island.
The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit issued the advisory on Wednesday at 7:30pm for customers serviced by the Town of Amherstburg Water Distribution System on Boblo Island.
The health unit says residents in the affected area should only consume bottled water or water brought to a hard boil for one minute.
The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
Affected customers are advised to contact the Town of Amherstburg at 519-736-3664 for more details about the cause of the advisory.
