Services For Tecumseh Deputy Fire Chief

Friends and colleagues will pay their final respects to Tecumseh's deputy fire chief Monday morning in a service at Windsor Chapel.

Art Lounsbury was diagnosed with cancer late last year and on Thursday, the fire service announced his passing. Tecumseh fire prevention officer Bob Hamilton tells BlackburnNews.com Lounsbury had served the community for more than 40 years. "He will be missed, sorely missed."

The service Monday starts at 10am. Lounsbury will be interned at Victoria Gardens on Hwy. 3 following the service.

Visitations are at Windsor Chapel at Banwell Rd. and Tecumseh Rd. E Sunday from 3pm to 5pm, and from 7pm to 9pm.
