The Essex Region Conservation Authority has extended its flood watch for the region another 24 hours.
Essex County has had a lot of rain over the last two days, and the forecast calls for another 15- to 25mm Monday. There's also the concern isolated thunderstorms could provide 25mm of rain in a short duration putting low-lying areas and urban areas at risk.
The Authority says flowing water and standing water can be extremely hazardous for people, pets and livestock.
This latest warning is in effect until 9am Tuesday.
