Windsor police now say two men have been arrested in connection to a stabbing in the Glengarry area.
Dozens of officers were dispatched to the 400-block of Glengarry Wednesday around 4pm for a report of a stabbing. Police say two men began arguing with a 52-year-old, which escalated into a physical altercation. That's when police say a 40-year-old got in the middle and was then stabbed in the shoulder. He was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
When the Emergency Services Unit arrived on scene they observed one suspect walking away, who was quickly placed under arrest. The second suspect was arrested this morning just after 10am in the 600-block of Victoria Ave.
Police say everyone involved were known to each other and the suspects were not allowed to be in the Glengarry residential housing area.
The 25-year-old and 22-year-old suspects have both been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault and breach of probation.
