Breast Cancer Awareness Bus

As a means of raising awareness and money for local breast cancer initiatives, Transit Windsor and the city are teaming up to turn a bus pink.

Transit Windsor General Manager Penny Williams is especially excited about the year-long program, as she's a breast cancer survivor. "For me personally, to have gone through breast cancer and gone through the treatments, and to still be standing, I hope that I'm an encouragement for everybody that you can beat breast cancer."

For a donation of $50, you can honour someone who has survived or is battling cancer with a pink ribbon decal, which will be placed on the outside of the bus.

To make a donation or purchase a ribbon, visit www.dragonboatsonline.com or call (519) 564-2296.  All of the money donated will be staying in Windsor and Essex County.
