Officials from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal have wrapped up their investigation into a fatal house fire in LaSalle.
LaSalle Deputy Fire Chief Ed Thiessen says investigators were unable to determine the cause of the fire in the 600-block of Laurier Dr. He says the damage was too significant, and there were too many variables to rule out and confirm an ignition source.
The damage estimate is $200,000 and the house is being demolished.
