Fraud Operation Squashed In Windsor

Windsor police are charging four people after discovering a fake credit card operation.

Two 18 year olds, a 19-year-old and a 21-year-old, all from Quebec, were arrested at the Devonshire Mall on Sunday after police got word of a fraud in progress.

The four are accused of using fake credit cards to buy a number of gift cards, jewelry, watches and electronics.

Police have since recovered numerous credit cards, as well as devices used to forge credit cards, in a hotel the four had been staying in.

Officers say the suspects took a train from Montreal to Toronto before renting a BMW to drive to Windsor.
