Update: Robbery At Motel

A 30-year-old woman now faces charges of robbery, possession of stolen property and forcible confinement after an incident at the Town & Country Motel on Howard Ave.

Windsor police say the victim stopped by a house in the 2600-block of Richmond St. this morning to visit a friend. Three people in the home allegedly took his wallet, forced him into a cab and locked him a motel room washroom.

The man waited until the coast was clear and then escaped to a nearby convenience store where he called police.

Investigators are going over video evidence and preparing search warrants. They've also identified two people of interest.

The first suspect is described as:

- a white man with a medium build, 175lbs, 6' tall, and 30-years of age

- wearing a white t-shirt with a design and blue jeans

- had short brown hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck that contained writing on a slant.

The second suspect is described as:

- a white man with a buzz cut and a large scar from the top of his head down his back

- approximately 5'6" with a stocky to medium build and 29-years of age

- wearing a white t-shirt with a design on it and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should call Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Tips can also be submitted on Facebook and at www.catchcrooks.com.
