Listowel's Corey Conners will be in the field for the PGA Tour Championship.
He is currently ranked 21st in the FedEx Cup standings and it is the top 30 that make it through to the big event that starts September 2nd.
Conners finished the BMW Championship strong, shooting a 7-under-65 in his final round. That put him at 14-under for the tournament and in a tie for 22nd. It was a bogey free round for Conners.
American Patrick Cantlay won the BMW Championship in a six hole playoff with Bryson DeChambeau. Both finished at 27-under which forced the extra holes.
The Tour Championship will be played at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia and is set up with a strokes based bonus system, reflecting what is posted in the FedEx Cup standings.
Cantlay, whose win at this past weekend's tournament vaulted him to the top of the standings, will start at 10-under par. That's followed by Tony Finau at 8-under and so on.
Conners is in a group of five players that will start at 1-under on Thursday.
