Sting drop third straight

The Sarnia Sting extended their losing streak to three games with a loss to the Sudbury Wolves on night.

The visiting Wolves won 7-3 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena, scoring four goals in the second period.

Left winger Kai Schwindt said the Sting needed to find a way to have a better start.

"We come out and we let them come all over us and kind of just back down and then we find our game in the second period. We just have to learn how to find that game earlier," said Schwindt.

The Sting were outshot by Sudbury 37-27.

Schwindt scored two goals and Carter Kostuch scored his first goal in a Sting jersey.

Kostuch said the transition to a new team has been good.

"Coming from North Bay the systems are obviously different with each team in the league and that's just something I have to adjust to a little bit quicker," said Kostuch.

The Sarnia Sting visit Mississauga on Sunday at Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Puck drop is at 2 p.m. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).
