Sarnia doubles Peterborough for fourth win in a row

The Sarnia Sting (4-7-0-0) have made it four wins in a row after a 4-2 victory over the Petes (9-4-0-0) in Peterborough Thursday night. Rookie Justin Nolet scored his first OHL goal early in the first period. "I was just walking down the wall, I saw Anthony (Tabak) he was looking at me the whole way so I just snuck in, he did a nice saucer over and I was lucky enough to put it in," said Nolet. Sean Josling landed his ninth goal of the season and Brayden Guy also scored in the first period for a 3-0 lead. Peterborough's captain Zach Gallant responded on a power play goal just one minute later, making it 3-1 as they headed into the second period. Sting captain Ryan McGregor also scored in the win, his second goal of the season, and Ethan Langevin stopped 41 shots on net. The Petes out-shot Sarnia 43-25. The Sarnia Sting visit Kingston Friday night, and have a stop in Ottawa Sunday afternoon.
