The Sarnia Sting have dealt Alexandre Hogue to the Guelph Storm for a conditional 15th round pick in 2021.
The 18-year-old defenceman was not present at this week's Sting training camp.
Sting General Manager Nick Sinclair announced the trade late Tuesday afternoon.
“On behalf of the entire organization I would like to thank Alex for his time here in Sarnia and wish him the best of luck as he continues his hockey career,” Sinclair said in a news release.
Hogue had five goals and eight assists in 85 games over two seasons with the Sting.
The Embrun Ontario native was chosen by the Sting in the second round, 37th overall, in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
