The LKSSAA soccer season was scheduled to underway with a handful of games set for Tuesday afternoon.
However all games this week have been postponed, with hopes the schedule can begin as soon as Monday, April 24.
LKSSAA Convenor James Clarke says referees are currently without a contract.
"We are in negotiations with the Ontario Soccer Association and are hoping to get the issue resolved quickly so they can begin play next week."
High school soccer games that were scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday of this week have all been postponed as well.
In junior boys rugby action Tuesday, Great Lakes travels to Petrolia to face LCCVI, that gets underway at 3:30pm. St. Pat's hosts Ursuline College at 3:30pm.
