Kyrou Expected To Make AHL Debut Saturday

Sarnia Sting forward Jordan Kyrou has been assigned by the St. Louis Blues to its AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves.

The 18-year-old just completed his third season with the Sting, and has registered 60 goals and 121 assists over 194 regular season games.

He was selected 35th overall by St. Louis in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

The Toronto native has represented Canada in international competition three times. In November 2014, he skated for Canada White in the World Under-17 Challenge in Sarnia.

In 2016, Kyrou was a member of Team Canada for the Under-18 World Championship in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He also earned a gold medal with Canada at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament.

Kyrou is expected to make his AHL debut on Saturday night when the Wolves host the Iowa Wild.
