Squires Look To Force Game Seven

Petrolia Squires are in Clinton tonight, trailing the best of seven final 3-2.

A road win Friday night would set up a seventh and final game Saturday night at the Greenwood Recreation Centre in Petrolia.

The Squires led the series 2-1 before Clinton pulled out wins in games four and five to put them within a victory of their second straight Senior 'AA' Championship.

It has been a tight series so far with three of the games decided by a single goal, and the Radars winning a pair of games in overtime. Clinton has also taken both games on home ice so far this series.

Kraig Wright continues to be a bright spot offensively, with three goals and three assists in the series. Adam Arsenault has also found his scoring touch, with three goals and four assists in four games.

If the Squires can pull out the game six victory, game seven would be at the Greenwood Recreation Centre Saturday night, with puck drop scheduled for 7pm.
