The Lambton College Men's Basketball team is back in the playoff picture after three straight wins.
The three victories have also gained them some recognition from the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association.
The Lions' were named the team of the week by the OCAA. That's among the association's 29 teams and 12 varsity sports. The recent success come after the Lions dropped seven in a row to start the season. A big reason for the turnaround, veteran guard Branden Padgett, who became the fourth player in the program's history to scored 1000 points.
Only four players remain on the roster from last year's bronze medal winning squad. The Lions will look to keep it going Friday night when they host St Clair at 8pm. The Lady Lions host the Saints for a 6pm tip off.
