The Sting scored four second period goals en route to a 5-2 win over Guelph Sunday night.
2,894 fans at the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre had to wait until the second period for the game's first goal.
Matt Mistele opened the scoring 2:27 into the middle frame, Jakob Chychrun and Anthony Salinitri pciked up assists on Mistele's 28th goal of the season. The lead was short lived as the Storm evened the game just 42 seconds later. Salinitri, Nikita Korostelev and Patrick White added second period tallies to give Sarnia a 4-2 advantage through 40 minutes.
Patrick White capped off his two goal night with an empty net goal in the games final minutes to secure the 5-2 win.
Sarnia's fourth straight win keeps them atop the West Division, one point up on the Windsor Spitfires, who also won Sunday.
The Sting open up the final month of the regular season Thursday when they host Sault Ste. Marie.
