James van Reimsdyk scored three goals and assisted on another to lift the Maple Leafs to a 6-2 win over visiting Nashville. Mitch Marner added a goal and two helpers for Toronto. Steve Stamkos scored his ninth of the season in Tampa's 4-3 win over the Red Wings, but left with a leg injury midway through the first period. Lightning coach Jon Cooper said they won't know the extent of Stamkos' injury until he has tests Wednesday. The former Sting forward had nine points in eight games coming into the game against Detroit Tuesday night. Stamkos has yet to miss a game this season. Patrick Laine scored his league leading 12th goal as Winnipeg blanked the Blackhawks 4-0. Connor Hellebuyck made 27 saves for his first shutout of the season.
The Edmonton Oilers lost their fourth straight game as Anaheim skated to a 4-1 win on home ice. Kyle Turris tied the game late and and captain Erik Karlsson scored in the shootout to give Ottawa a 3-2 win over Phildelphia.
Kevin Hayes and JT Miller each had two goals, and Henrik Lundqvist made 36 saves as New York downed Vancouver 7-2 for their eighth win in their last nine games. Aaron Ekblad scored the winner as Montreal lost to Florida in overtime, it was the Habs first loss on home ice this season.
Chad Johnson stopped 27 shots as Calgary blanked the Minnesota Wild 1-0. Johnny Gaudreau had the game's only goal.
The New Jersey Devils beat Dallas to win their fifth in a row.
