Hockey Briefs For November 4

The Sarnia Sting host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Friday night at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, and travel to Owen Sound on Saturday.

-- The Sarnia Legionnaires (10-7-0-0) are in St. Thomas (5-11-0-1) tonight.

The Legionnaires beat London 6-4 Thursday night, and have won five of their last six games, including victories over top teams LaSalle and Leamington.

Lambton Shores (4-11-0-2) hosts St. Mary's (5-12-0-0) Saturday night, and are in Chatham (12-4-0-0) Sunday.

Kirklin Dorman's third goal of the night was the overtime winner as Petrolia came back to beat Wallaceburg 5-4 at the Greenwood Rec Centre Thursday night.

The win snaps a five game losing streak for the hockey club, who travels to Blenheim Sunday for a match up with the first place Blades.

Mooretown hosts Dresden Saturday.

Busy weekend for the Lambton Jr Sting.

Minor Bantams and Major Atoms are at the Bauer Invite Tournament in Chicago. The Minor and Major Peewees are at the Shanahan International in Mississauga The Minor Midgets have a league game in Brantford Friday night, the Major Midgets are in Brantford Sunday.

Seven local teams are among the 74 taking part in the Bauer World Invite Hockey Tournament in Sarnia, Pt. Edward and Port Huron this week.
