Great Lakes Kicks Off Football Season With Win

Great Lakes Secondary School opened the 2016 Senior Football Season with a 25-14 win over Wallaceburg Thursday afternoon.

Josh Kita, Jake Williams and Rory Pickle all scored touchdowns for Great Lakes.

Northern takes on St. Pat's this afternoon with a 5:30 kick off at Norm Perry Park. The Vikings and Irish will square off in Junior Boys Football beforehand at 3pm.

Junior Girls Basketball - Cassidy Hirtle and McKenna Jackson each had seven points as Northern beat Ursuline Collge 39-10 - St. Pat's beat Chatham-Kent 46-24

Senior Girls Basketball - Northern beat Ursuline College 59-12

Junior Girls Soccer - St. Pat's beat Great Lakes 7-0

Junior Boys Soccer - St. Pat's beat Great Lakes 9-2 - Ursuline College blanked Chatham-Kent 1-0
