Sarnia's defence did the scoring in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Chatham Maroons.
Sam McCormack, Brett Storr, and Nash Nienhuis scored for the Legionnaires, who move to 2-2 on the young season. Neinhuis also added an assist in the win, while Joey Zappa chipped in with a pair of helpers.
The Legionnaires are back home Thursday when they host Lambton Shores at Sarnia Arena, before travelling to St. Mary's Friday.

The Lambton Shores Predators lost their home opener Saturday, 4-1 to Strathroy.
Jake Desando scored the lone Lambton Shores goal, despite the Preds finishing the game with a 52-34 shot advantage.
Strathroy scored three third period goals to secure their first win of the season. The Predators are now 1-2, and are in Sarnia Thursday night before returning home Saturday night against St. Thomas.

The Mooretown Flags lost their season opener in overtime, 2-1 on the road in Amherstburg Sunday evening.
Ryan Lyle scored Mooretown's only goal, with Joe DeSana and Dawson Vautour credited with the assists.
The Flags are in Petrolia Thursday night, before hosting the Flyers in their home opener Saturday.

Junior hockey has returned to Petrolia. The Flyers dropped their opening game in Blenheim Sunday night, losing a 6-2 decision to the Blades.
Curtis Helps and Jack Hackett scored third period goals for the Flyers.
Petrolia has their home opener Thursday evening at the Greenwood Recreation Centre against the Mooretown Flags.
