The battle of the 402 returns early next Ontario Hockey League season.
The Sarnia Sting will host the defending Memorial Cup champion London Knights to kick off the 2016-17 campaign. The first game of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 at the SSEC.
The two teams will square off a total of six times during the season including the annual New Year's home and home.
The Sting will be raising their West Division Champion banner prior to Game two of the season after capturing the title for the first time since 2004.
The complete 68-game schedule will be released Wednesday at 10am.
