NBA LeBron James had his second straight 41 point game and the Cleveland Cavaliers won their second straight must win game, beating Golden State 115-101 to force a decisive Game seven Sunday night in Oakland. James also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out 11 assists. Kyrie Irving added 23 points as the Cavaliers led by as many as 24. Stephen Curry had 30 to lead the Warriors before getting ejected with 4:22 left. It's the first ejection in the NBA MVP's career. (read MORE)

MLB Five Blue Jays went deep and J.A. Happ pitched seven innings as Toronto hammered the Philadelphia Phillies 13-2. Edwin Encarnacion and Michael Saunders hit back-to-back home runs in the first, while Kevin Pillar hit a pair of long balls. Edwin now has six homers in his last six contests. (read MORE)

Aaron Sanchez is still a starter for the Jays and is expected get tonight's assignment against Baltimore. Sanchez is 6-and-1 but Gibbons says the plan is to eventually move him back to the bullpen because of an innings count.

Elsewhere, Victor Martinez hit three home runs as the Tigers opened a series in Kansas City with a 10-4 win, rallying for seven runs in the final three innings to complete the comeback win.

Colby Lewis took a no hitter into the ninth inning, as the Rangers beat Oakland 5-1. Texas has won 15 of their last 19 ball games.

New York Mets third baseman David Wright had surgery to repair a herniated disk in his neck, and is out for the foreseeable future. He's expected to miss most of the remainder of the season, perhaps all of it.

PGA Not much golf was played on opening day of the US Open with rain interrupting the action three times before it was suspended. They will try to complete the first round early this morning. Amateur Scottie Scheffler has the clubhouse lead after posting a 1-under 69, but only nine of the 156 golfers were able to complete their round. (read MORE)

LPGA Canadians Brooke Henderson and Alena Sharp are in the mix entering the second round of the Meijer LPGA Classic. Sharp shot 5-under 66 yesterday to sit one stroke back of five players at 6 under. Henderson, who won her first major last week, shot 67.

NHL The Los Angeles Kings named Anze Kopitar their new captain, after Dustin Brown wore the 'C' for the last eight seasons.

Goalie Cam Ward has signed a two-year, $6.6 million dollar contract extension with Carolina. He's the last remaining player for the Canes 2006 Cup winning team, where he won the Conn Smyth.

The Red Wings have signed centre Riley Sheahan to a two-year, $4.15 million contract. Detroit also signed defenceman Brian Lashoff to a two-way contract. He will make $650,000 if he plays in the NHL and $275,000 if he is in the American Hockey League again.
