Giancarlo Stanton homered and drove in two runs as the Marlins held on for a 4-3 victory over Arizona. The Cubs complete the 3 game sweep in Pittsburgh with a 6-2 win. Daniel Murphy was 4-for-5 with a homer as Washington beat Kansas City 13-2. St. Louis came back to beat Philadelphia 5-4. Lucas Duda smacked two of New York's four home runs in an 8-0 Mets win over of Atlanta. The Yankees' six-game skid is over after CC Sabathia scattered six hits over seven innings in a 7-0 win over Baltimore. Steve Pearce hit a three-run homer and Tampa Bay added three solo shots in an 8-5 victory over the LA Dodgers. Houston set a team high for runs in a 16-4 romp over Minnesota, Seattle beat Oakland 8-9 to complete its first sweep of the year, and Mike Trout hit a solo homer and had two RBI's in a 6-3 Angels win over Milwaukee.

NBA The Cleveland Cavaliers did their best Golden State Warriors impression last night, draining an NBA record 25 three pointers in a 123-98 route over Atlanta to take a 2-0 series lead. JR Smith led the way with seven three pointers, LeBron James finished with 27 points.

The Toronto Raptors will look to even their series with Miami tonight after dropping game one in overtime.
