The Brigden Fall Fair is expected to welcome thousands "Thru the Fair Gate" this long weekend.
The fair and thanksgiving tradition kicks off Friday at the Fairgrounds on Courtright Line.
President of the Moore Agricultural Society John Scott said this is the 176th edition of the annual fair
He said they have several food vendors, a midway, and lots of activities and shows for the whole family, including the parade at noon on Saturday.
"We have the Great Canadian Lumberjacks that are back this year, we have I-Flipp acrobatic demonstrations and entertainment, all of our different cattle shows, horse-pull and we also have our entertainment tent," said Scott.
He said this year there's a new parking entrance at Gate B.
"We are trying a different style this year we are trying a park and pay," said Scott. "Because, we've had this issue for a few years now where we get congestion out on the roads as we try to get people in as quickly as we can."
On-site shuttles will transport visitors to and from the admission gate, with volunteers available to direct traffic.
In the past, over 50,000 people attended the four day fair.
"I'm hoping for 60,000 or 70,000 people this year, but realistically everything is geared by weather," said Scott.
Environment Canada is forecasting mostly sunny skies for the Thanksgiving weekend, with periods of rain on Sunday.
Admission on Friday is $5 until 4 p.m., then $20 after 4 p.m. which includes the evening Tractor Pull.
Saturday through Monday entry is $15 for adults. Elementary school aged children get in free all weekend.
