Point Edward Fire and Rescue along with Lambton OPP and Lambton EMS responded to a two-vehicle crash at around 8 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway, at Front Street North.
Fire officials said an SUV and commercial vehicle had collided, and paramedics assessed the SUV's driver for minor injuries.
Police said the SUV driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with unsafe move – lane or shoulder.
