Over 50 building permits were issued at Sarnia City Hall last month.
Among the 51 permits issued, was one for $510,000 for the installation of a new modular Electrical Motor Control Center (MCC) Building at Imperial Oil Limited on Christina Street.
Work also includes site preparation, electrical services, grading, crane fees and labour.
A $350,000 permit was also issued for commercial renovations at 1444 Quinn Drive.
The total construction value for June was just over $8.6 million, bringing the year-to-date total to $44.5 million.
That's down from $50.7 million in the first six months of 2025.
Permits for seven single family homes were issued in June, bringing the year-to-date total to 17.
