St. Clair Township Mayor Jeff Agar is seeking reelection.
Agar, who was first elected mayor in 2022, officially filed his nomination papers on Monday, May 4.
In a post to social media, he said serving St. Clair Township over the last four years has been a great honour.
"Together we have made amazing progress and I believe there is still more to be accomplished," said Agar in the post. "I am committed to continuing the work, listening to residents, strengthening our local economy and building a future in St. Clair Township we can all be proud of. I would be grateful for your continued support."
In Lambton Shores, Deputy Mayor Dan Sageman has filed his nominations papers for reelection. He also filed his papers on Monday, May 4. He was first elected to the role in 2022 after serving as a councillor.
Those interested in running in the upcoming October 26 election have until August 21 to file their nomination papers.
