Wellings of Corunna is hosting a craft vendor sale this weekend.
Over 40 vendors are expected to be selling all kinds of goods from crochet items to handmade soaps and candles.
"We have over 40 vendors ranging quite diversely, actually, from crocheting, baked goods, laser cutting, woodworking, clothing, natural soaps, lots of different things," said General Manager of Wellings of Corunna, Billy Yurchuk. "And on top of that, Sarnia Blessings will be providing lunch available for purchase. It's a good day."
Wellings has been hosting craft sales for several years, and due to increased interest its started hosting two a year.
"It's probably our third or fourth year. But for a couple of years, we only did one a year at Christmas, only like in November. But this November past was extremely successful," said Yurchuk. "Because of the great success we had in the fall, we've decided to do two a year now, one in the spring and one in the fall.
Vendors come from different areas, and even some residents of Wellings participate.
"A few of the members have tables set up. So they, you know, they do crocheting and knitting things like that. So they, they sell their crafts as well. So it's very well received by the community," he said.
The craft sale happens from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Wellings of Corunna, 180 Bunker Ave.
