Sarnia police have arrested one suspect in a homicide early Friday morning at Lambton College, and say an arrest warrant has been issued for a second.
Police said 20-year-old Dane Nisbet was shot and killed at a campus bar, and two others suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police said since the initial incident, Sarnia Police Service (SPS) teams have been pursuing multiple investigative avenues to positively identify all parties involved and locate and seize available evidence.
Police said two women who were in the company of the suspects at the time of the offence were located and arrested. They're not believed to be party to the offence and were later released unconditionally.
The investigation has led to two primary male suspects. The first as the shooter, and the second as an accomplice.
On Saturday, April 11, investigators obtained search warrants for two London residences, one on Boullee Street and the other on Stonehenge Place. The warrants were executed at around mid-morning with the assistance of the London Police Emergency Response Unit and LPS investigators.
