Oil Museum hosts annual Halloween event

A 'wicked' event is returning to the Oil Museum of Canada, where children can go trick-or-treating at historic buildings.

The annual Cackling Cauldrons event will be held on Saturday, October 25, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes. Halloween-themed crafts and activities will also be set up.

“Cackling Cauldrons provides children with a space to enjoy Halloween fun and create lasting memories," said Educational Program Coordinator Christina Sydorko. "It’s also a wonderful chance to experience the Museum grounds in a new way, as families explore our historic buildings in costume, join in games, and try new activities together.”

The event is free to attend, thanks to Pembina's sponsorship.

The Village of Oil Springs will also host a Halloween Party at the Youth Centre on Victoria Street from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
