Point Edward to host e-waste collection drive

Residents have an opportunity clean out their junk drawers full of old cell phones and charging cables this week.

There will be an E-Waste Collection Drive in Point Edward Thursday, October 23.

Old computers, screens, printers, mobile phones, cables, and audio visual devices can be recycled free of charge.

The event will be held at the Point Edward Arena on Monk Street, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Residents are reminded to erase any personal data from the devices before recycling.
