Federal offender who frequents Sarnia included on Bolo list

A federal offender previously known to frequent the Sarnia, London, and Toronto areas has been included in the latest list of Canada's 25 most wanted.

The Bolo (Be On The Lookout) Program, a nationwide initiative to engage citizens to be on the lookout for wanted individuals, released a new list on Wednesday.

Listed at number 18 was 44-year-old Joshua Gray, who is wanted for being unlawfully at large.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad said the Canada-wide warrant was issued as a result of a breach of parole. Gray is currently serving a nearly three-year sentence for offences including armed robbery.

While he is known to frequent southwestern Ontario, investigators believe he may have left the province and could be elsewhere in Canada.

Those who see Gray should be cautious.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Provincial ROPE Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll-free at 1-866-870-ROPE (7673) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or call 9-1-1.

Of the 25 individuals noted on the Bolo Program's most wanted list, 17 are wanted for murder in provinces across the country.

Last year, 10 Bolo suspects were arrested. Since the program's inception in 2018, 39 wanted individuals have been caught.

Among those still wanted is Phuong Tan Nguyen. York Regional Police have been searching for Nguyen in connection with a homicide investigation after human remains were found at Twin Creeks Landfill and Environmental Center in Watford in 2021.
