Hundreds expected at Age-Friendly Expo

Local residents are invited to 'Explore the Path to Wellbeing" at the annual Age Friendly Expo.

The fourth annual event, held in partnership between Lambton Elderly Outreach and the Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team, is on Wednesday, May 7 at the Point Edward Arena.

Over 100 exhibitors are lined up for the event designed to promote physical, mental and social wellness.

"This year, we emphasize the importance of taking an active role in one's wellbeing, encouraging visitors to discover tools and pathways that can support a fulfilling and healthy life at every age and stage," read a news release from Age-Friendly Sarnia-Lambton.

Guests will be treated to entertainment throughout the day as well as free snacks.

Food will also be available for purchase.

It will be on from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Admission is free.
