Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has called in the Special Investigation Unit following a two-vehicle collision in Middlesex Centre.
On Saturday, March 15 police were investigating an incident involving a suspected stolen vehicle at approximately 7:20 a.m.
During the investigation, the vehicle was involved in a crash and one person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said Melbourne Road from Jubilee Drive to Carroll Drive was closed for several hours.
The SIU is an independent government agency that investigates the conduct of officials that may have resulted in death, serious injury, sexual assault and/or the discharge of a firearm at a person.
