Traffic complaint leads to arrest in Plympton-Wyoming

One person was arrested following a traffic complaint Wednesday afternoon.

Lambton OPP said the complaint originated in the Kettle and Stony Point First Nation area, just after 3 p.m. on February 5.

OPP and the Anishinabek Police Service located the suspect vehicle at a business on Oil Heritage Road, north of London Line in Plympton-Wyoming.

The male passenger in the vehicle was taken into custody as a result of the interaction with responding officers.

A 43-year-old Lambton Shores man is charged with uttering threats-cause death or bodily harm, resisting a peace officer and failure to comply with release order-other than to attend custody.

The accused was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court February 14.
