Human remains discovered last week in the area of Highway 40 and Lasalle Line have been identified as Bradley Ogilvie, who was reported missing in November 2023.
In September 2024, Ogilvie's disappearance was ruled a homicide and three people were charged with first-degree murder.
On Friday, Sarnia police said Robin Maness, Trevor Waller, and Nikki Cottrelle remain in custody.
"On behalf of the Sarnia Police Service, we extend our deepest condolences to Bradley's family and friends," said Police Chief Derek Davis. "It is our sincere hope that his recovery and return to his family will provide them a small measure of comfort and closure in this difficult time."
The Sarnia Police Service said no other information will be provided as the investigation is ongoing and is before the courts.
During last year's media briefing, police said Ogilvie was last seen alive, leaving a Stuart Street home in the company of the three suspects.
Ogilvie's father, Glenn, addressed a small crowd at police headquarters, hoping for his son's body to be found.
