Sarnia's mayor welcomes new executive assistant

Sarnia's mayor has a new executive assistant starting on Monday.

Mike Bradley is welcoming back Dawn Schieman to the City of Sarnia.

Bradley says Schieman filled several contract positions with the city from 2017-2019 including in the mayor’s office, and human resources and planning departments.

She spent the past five years in an executive assistant role at Lambton College.

Schieman replaces Janis Moore, who retired earlier this year completing a career at city hall spanning five decades.

Moore started working for the city in 1973, and worked with mayors Andy Brandt, Marceil Saddy and Ron Gordon before Bradley.
