A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in downtown Sarnia just over a week ago has since died.
On Wednesday, October 9, Sarnia police responded to a collision near the intersection of Christina Street North and George Street at around 10:15 a.m.
A 69-year-old man was hit by a pickup truck and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, October 17 Sarnia police confirmed the man had died in hospital as a result. His name will not be released.
The Traffic Services Unit continues to investigate.
