No beach warnings posted for Labour Day weekend

Local beaches have been given the all-clear for the long weekend.

Water testing is conducted at Grand Bend, Pinery Provincial Park, Ipperwash Main Beach, C.J. McEwan (Highland Glen), Bright's Grove and Canatara.

Lambton Public Health said at this time, no warning signs are posted.

The health unit said following heavy rainfall, the water at area beaches may be temporarily polluted for up to 48 hours.

Residents are advised to check the water quality status before going out to the beach.

The health unit does not conduct water sampling along the St. Clair River.
