One man injured following downtown stabbing

Sarnia police are looking for more information about a stabbing in the city's downtown on Thursday.

The IMPACT team were stopped while on patrol, in the area of Queen and Wellington Streets at around 9 a.m.

It's alleged, a 35 year-old male was stabbed in the back, receiving a substantial two to three inch cut near his shoulder blade.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, and few details were provided to officers about the incident.
