Lambton College's FireFit team earned six medals at a recent regional competition held in Oshawa.
The Eastern Ontario Regional was held on August 10 and August 11. Lambton College said it was a sold-out event with over 180 competitors.
The ladies won gold in the women's relay. They also finished with the fastest team time (best three of five individual racers).
The men's team won silver in their relay category after losing by one second to St. Catherine's Fire. The men's team also came in second place in team time.
Lambton College said the women’s rookie was named fastest rookie in an individual race and Adam Shouldice was second in the fastest rookie category.
The local FireFit team opened the season in early July.
Their next competition will be held during the weekend of August 24 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
