The Bright's Grove Optimist Club is celebrating the nation's birthday one week early.
Canada Day festivities will be held on Saturday, June 22.
The fun starts with the traditional parade at 11 a.m. from Wildwood Park along Hamilton Road to Waterworks Road to Old Lakeshore Road, ending at Kenwick Park.
Kids and families are reminded to decorate their bikes or wagons and participate in the parade.
The party continues at Kenwick Park with kids' rides, food and live music from noon until 3 p.m.
The Hot Tub Hippies will put on a free concert beginning at 7 p.m. in a licensed area of the park.
